Saint Roch of Montpellier |
This site has been developed by the «CENTRO STUDI ROCCHIANO» (centre for studies on Saint Roch), emanation of the «ASSOCIAZIONE ITALIANA SAN ROCCO DI MONTPELLIER» (Italian association Saint Roch of Montpellier), and is meant to assist all those who are interested in knowing more about the fascinating figure of saint Roch.

Our work’s purpose is to offer an instrument for consultation and thorough examination both to experts and scholars, and to whom may have no scientific claims.
The English version is by dr. Domizia Parri, member of our Association, with the collaboration of dr. Gina Torreggiani; the «Centre» thanks both them warmly.
Publications |

In this section, we introduce some books about saint Roch, by our collaborators (Italian language).

Cities of Saint Roch |

Saint Roch’s devotion is present all over the world, and it characterizes the civil and religious life of innumerable localities. But some cities are particularly close to saint Roch, not only devotionally but also historically, having been the site of the main episodes of the Saint’s life: in France, Montpellier; in Italy, Acquapendente, Caorso, Piacenza, Sarmato, Voghera and Venice.
