| Welcome | |
This portal have been developed by the «Association Saint Roch in Italy» and the «International Historical-Scientific Committee for Studies on Saint Roch and Medieval History» and is meant to assist all those who are interested in knowing more about the fascinating figure of Saint Roch, one of the most venerated saints in the history of Church and of Christian population.
Our work’s purpose is to offer an instrument for consultation and thorough examination both to experts and scholars, and to whom may have no scientific claims.
The English version is by dr. Domizia Parri, member of our Association, with the collaboration of dr. Gina Torreggiani; the International Committee thanks both warmly.

| Municipalities | Montpellier, Acquapendente, Caorso, Piacenza, Sarmato, Voghera and Venezia |
The realization of our Committee’s project was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the municipalities of Caorso, Piacenza, Sarmato and Voghera in Italy, of the Arciconfraternity «Scuola Grande di San Rocco» of Venice and of the Association Internationale Saint Roch of Montepellier, France. Along with Acquapendente, the above mentioned cities are particularly close to Saint Roch, not only devotionally but also historically, having been the set of the main episodes of the Saint’s life.
