Gian Paolo Vigo è il Presidente della «Associazione San Rocco Italia». Cura ed aggiorna personalmente la sezione CULTO del portale Internet dell’Associazione stessa, ed suoi articoli di pastorale sono pubblicati su «Vita Sancti Rochi», rivista del «Comitato Internazionale Storico-Scientifico per gli Studi su San Rocco e la Storia Medioevale», emanazione dell’Associazione.
É nato nel 1964 in provincia di Alessandria (Piemonte) dove vive e lavora.
Opera nel mondo delle confraternite laicali cattoliche.
Ha pubblicato alcune ricerche storiche in materia ma si occupa soprattutto dell’attualità, del rinnovamento secondo l’antica esperienza, e delle prospettive socio-pastorali di questa originale forma associazionistica, alcuni aspetti della quale ha già a suo tempo presentato anche su Internet: collabora infatti al sito www.supereva.it del gruppo editoriale Rizzoli-Corriere della Sera, in qualità di «guida-confraternite».
È stato fondatore e - per parecchi anni - responsabile di organismi diocesani e regionali di settore.
Attualmente è Delegato Nazionale dell’Ordine religioso della Santissima Trinità, per le Confraternite omonime (in tale veste venne invitato dall’organizzazione del primo Convegno rocchiano tenutosi a Voghera nel giugno 1999) ed è pure membro della «Society for Confraternities Studies» dell'Università di Toronto (Canada).
In campo umanitario presta servizio come ambulanziere della Croce Verde Stazzanese ed è presidente italiano della «Association Internationale Etoile du Bien et du Merite», organizzazione di promozione sociale che ha sede a Nizza (F).

Gian Paolo Vigo is the President of the «Italian Saint Rocco Association». He personally manteins and updates the section of the CULT of the Internet gate of the same Association, and its pastoral articles are published on «Vita Sancti Rochi», review of the «International Historic-Scientific Committee for the Studies on Saint Rocco and the Medioevale History», emanation of the Association.
He is born in 1964 in province of Alexandria (Piemonte) where it lives and it works.
He operate in the world of the lay catholics confraternities (brotherhoods).
It has published some historical searches in matter but he takes care, above all, on the present time, on the renewal by the ancient experience, and on the social-pastoral perspectives of this original associationistic shape, some aspects of which he has already opportunely introduced also on Internet: it collaborates, in fact, whit the situated www.supereva.it of the Rizzoli-Corriere della Sera editorial group, in quality of «confraternities-guide».
He has been founding and - for several years - responsible of diocesan and regional organisms of this field.
Currently he is National Delegate of the religious Order of the Most Holy Trinity, for the same Confraternities (in such role he came invited by the organization of the first rocchiano Convention of Voghera, june 1999) and he is also member of the «Society for Confraternities Studies» of the University of Toronto (Canada).
In humanitarian field he give his service as ambulace-driver at Stazzanese Green Cross, and he is the italian president of the «Association Internationale Etoile du Bien et du Merite», social promotion organization whose center is in Nice (F).

Publicó algunas investigaciones históricas en materia, pero se ocupa sobre todo de la actualidad, de la renovación segundo la antigua experiencia, y de los perspectivos socio-pastorales de esta original forma de asociación, cuyos algunos aspectos en su tiempo ya presentaron incluso en Internet: colabora en efecto en el situado www.supereva.it del grupo editorial Rizzoli-Corriere della Sera, en calidad de «guia cofradiera».
Fue fundador y - por muchos años - responsable de organismos diocesanos y regionales de este sector.
Actualmente es Delegado Nacional de la Orden religiosa de la S.tma Trinidad, para las Hermandades homónimas (a este respecto fue envitado por la organización del primer Congreso roqueano que se tuvo en Voghera en junio de 1999) y es tambien miembro del «Society for Confraternities Studies» de la Universidad de Toronto (el Canadá).
